Kikusui, a brewery in Kita Echigo fusing techniques to create interesting sake

The Kikusui Brewery has opened the Kikusui Sake Culture Institute to the public, which has conducted extensive historical research in order to create things that make Japanese sake more enjoyable. The Takasawa Family (the brewers of Kikusui) created their garden using vacant land once owned by Taiami Tanaka, a master gardener who has restored some of Japan's most famous gardens, and have also opened it to the public.

In addition, the shop attached to the head office sells a variety of products, including limited-edition sake that can only be purchased here, fun sake containers, local sweets, and specialty products.

Come and discover a new way to enjoy sake at Kikusui Brewery in Shibata-sh, Kita Echigo.

They are looking forward to your visit.
