Goshogawara Tachineputa is a festival held annually from August 4 to 8 in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture. The large, 23-meter tall Tachineputa floats that are used during the festival can be seen on display at the Tachineputa no Yakata museum throughout the year!
The vivid colors and detailed modeling of the giant floats are a wonder to behold! Be sure to take a close-up look at them♪ Large Tachineputa floats which will be used during the festival are constructed inside the museum, so you can observe the actual process of making them♪ Visitors can even make same-day reservations to try their hand at making Goldfish Neputa lanterns and Neputa Lights!

Koganezaki Furofushi Onsen, a single inn which stands the coast of Fukaura in Aomori Prefecture, is epitomized by its open-air bath located directly beside the seashore♪
The bath is set only 1 meter away from the beach and is filled with hot spring water drawn from a source that gushes out at a rate of 400 liters per minute! Here, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Sea of Japan as you soak in the warm, iron-rich water. Although this bath is available for daytrips, bathing at sunset, when the entire area is tinged with a golden hue, is something else! This is a special treat only for those who choose to stay at the inn♪

After passing through the row of countless Torii gates and reaching the end of the path, you will find an observation deck where you can photograph the Senbon Torii, which undulates like a dragon as it rises to the top of the hill♪
