The Oirase Keiryu (mountain stream) runs along a 14-km stretch from Nenokuchi on the shore of Lake Towada to Yakeyama, with many waterfalls, clear streams, rocks, and other highlights. The roadway and promenade along the stream are surrounded by a tunnel of beech and maple trees, showcasing the overwhelming beauty of nature! ♪
The autumn leaves are usually at their peak from mid-October to early November! During the period from Monday, October 23 to Sunday, October 29, a shuttle bus will be running between the Yasumiya area near the parking lot to Yakeyama, so be sure to take advantage of this service. We recommend strolling along the promenade while taking in the fantastic views of the autumn leaves and the mountain stream up close!
