Moss Walking Tour
Oirase Stream, which was selected as one of "Japan's Precious Moss Forests," is covered with moss on trees, rocks, and everything else, and the forest, which consists mainly of deciduous hardwood trees, looks like a natural moss garden. The "Moss Walk" is a small group guided tour to learn about the natural history and ecosystem of Oirase forests and to enjoy the charm of nature through the unique characteristics of Oirase mosses. There are two types of tours: a morning tour (180 minutes) for those who want to take their time and fully enjoy the nature of Oirase, and an afternoon tour (90 minutes) for those who can participate casually. You are sure to make new discoveries and impressions by touching the beauty and various designs of the mosses with a magnifying glass. In addition, Oirase Keiryu is a beautiful mountain stream and scenic spot designated as a national natural monument and famous as a photo spot.
