Kirin Ichiban Shibori is one of Japan's most popular beers. At this brewery, you can discover its secret manufacturing process and enjoy its delicious taste that has made it so popular. The opportunity to compare the first and second squeezed wort is a rare experience and is very popular with visitors. After observing the production process, visitors can enjoy three different kinds of first squeezed wort. (Non-alcoholic drinks are available for designated drivers, minors, pregnant and breastfeeding women.) The tour takes 80 minutes. Reservations are required in advance for the tour.

A restaurant is connected to the brewery, where you can also enjoy delicious beer direct from the factory. Don't forget to buy something at the souvenir store, where you can buy original Kirin products.

To get to the brewery, we recommend taking the free shuttle bus from Tagajo Station on the JR Senseki Line. Check the schedule on the website when using the shuttle bus. (For brewery tours, you must take the shuttle bus by 14:25.)
