Ouchi-juku Time Slip & Kimono Wearing Experience
Stroll through the streets, which were used as a stopover during the Edo period (1603-1867) and still retain their original form, while wearing a kimono and taking pictures. Enjoy powdered green tea and yokan (sweet bean curd) at Ishiharaya, a teahouse in Ouchi-juku, and enjoy tasting pickles and sake at the souvenir shops lining the street while choosing your souvenirs. At the Machinami Exhibition Hall, you can learn about the life of common people in the Edo period. There are not many opportunities to wear kimono in Japan. We hope you will experience a time slip while enjoying the magnificent nature and historical atmosphere!
