"Koyo Ginga" Fall Foliage Light-up at Chusonji Temple

"Koyo Ginga" Fall Foliage Light-up held at Chusonji temple from October 29 (Fri.) to November 14 (Sun.) 2021

As the leaves change color in autumn along the road that leads to Chusonji, the temple grounds are illuminated during the "Koyo Ginga" (galaxy of autumn colors) event.

Visitors can enjoy the colorful appearance of Japanese maples in shades of crimson as they walk along the temple path. There are many more spots worth seeing, including the oido covered hall all lit up and the image of Benzaiten Hall reflected on the water's surface.

Chusonji itself is one of the most popular sightseeing destinations in Hiraizumi, but many visitors have yet to experience the temple while "Koyo Ginga" is being held. Don't miss this chance to see Chusonji in autumn.

"Koyo Ginga" event: October 29 (Fri.) to November 14 (Sun.) 2021

Illumination light-up times: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
