Since its establishment in 1896, the brewery has continued to study and develop new technologies while preserving old traditions. 

Their representative sake is the "Azuma no Fumoto." They are also working in conjunction with the Tohoku University of Art & Design and have launched a new sake series called "Tenkyu" with labels designed by the students.
