Old Kaneko Family House (Akita City, Akita Prefecture)

A city-designated tangible cultural property that retains the architectural style of the late Edo period

The building is a merchant house that strongly retains the architectural style of a townhouse from the late Edo period. The storeroom inside the house built at the end of the Edo period, the rainwater jar placed on the roof in case of fire, and more are worth seeing.
