Amihari Observation Lift

A picnic in the air - Enjoy the charms of Shizukuishi's mountains and fields!

The Amihari Observation Lift is very popular at the Amihari Onsen Ski Resort since a variety of activities can be enjoyed, including trekking to Mt. Iwate and Mt. Mitsuishi and hiking to enjoy the autumn leaves.

Ride three lifts and climb the 1,300-meter stretch to the top. From the Inuyama Observation Deck, a 5-minute walk from the last lift terminal, you can enjoy the dynamic view of the Shizukuishi Basin and the Amihari Onsen's hot spring source as well as the autumn leaves that paint the hillsides of Mt. Inukurayama.

In addition, you can enjoy a hike to Mt. Inukurayama (1,408 meters) which takes an hour round-trip. If the conditions are right, you may be able to experience a stunning view of a sea of clouds!
