Kanezaki Sohonten Sasa Kamakan

The Kanezaki Sohonten Sasakamakan is a hands-on facility where visitors can enjoy not only fish paste but also Miyagi's food and culture to the fullest, with the themes "only here you can see," "only here you can experience," and "only here you can taste.


Visitors can learn about sasa-kamaboko in a fun and tasty way by taking a handmade workshop (reservations required), enjoy a healthy lunch menu at "Morino Kondate Café", which offers a variety of healthy meals as Kanesaki is particular about fish, and visit the "Tanabata Museum" to see Sendai Tanabata decorations all year round!
