Goma fire ceremony

In the garden in front of the main hall, you can enjoy the nature of Akiu from season to season set against the borrowed scenery of the prefectural park. On the first and third Sundays of every month, from 13:00, the Goma fire ceremony is performed at Jigenji Temple’s Gomado Hall, followed by a Buddhist sermon. *This information is as of the end of April 2020.

*About numbered tickets
One numbered ticket per person will be distributed at the ticket office from 9:00 a.m. (Please note that advance reservations are not accepted for numbered tickets.) Please gather in front of the Gomado Hall by 12:45 p.m.*, and then enter the hall in the order of your number.
