Pick water shields in Mitane Town, the largest producer of the aquatic plant in Japan!
Under the guidance of farmers, you will ride a small boat and pick water shields, which are high-quality edible plants cultivated in pristine waters from Shirakami-Sanchi. The water shields you picked can be taken and eaten at home. If you cannot bring it home, let us know.
After picking the water shields, refresh your mind and body by bathing in Moritake Onsen (Yuuparu), a hot spring well known for being very salty. This tour is available from May to August. Please note that it is subject to weather conditions.
