The Jogakura Bridge is located in Towada-Hachimantai National Park. The bridge is 360 meters long with a span of 255 meters between the arch, making it the longest arch bridge in Japan. The views from bridge are breathtaking.
The bridge offers views of the Hakkoda Mountains, Aomori City Centre, and Mt. Iwaki. You can also overlook the Jogakura Stream where rich nature remains. There is a parking space and small rest area at both ends of the bridge, allowing you to get out of the car and enjoy the views.
You can enjoy the beautiful views of Mt. Hakkoda all year round, from the fresh greenery of summer to the winter snow scenes, but crowds of people come especially during autumn to take photos of the mountain panoramas coloured in red and yellow.
