(1) Futatsumori Course - Panoramic view of the Shirakami MountainsThis 1,086-meter-high mountain is located on the west side of the "World Heritage Area" in the Shirakami Mountains, which stretch along the border between Akita and Aomori prefectures. From the summit, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the natural beech forest, Mt. (Due to the collapse of the access road, climbing is not permitted for the time being.)
(2) Tomeyama Course - A mountain where logging has been held back since the Edo period (1603-1868)A forest that has been protected since the feudal era, giant beech trees over 300 years old can be seen in the satoyama. Since Tomeyama is a forest that has been protected by the local people, we ask that you be accompanied by a guide when entering the mountain so as not to disturb the forest.
(3) Course - The Formative Beauty of the Manase Valley This is a famous place for the Manase Canyon, which originates in the Shirakami Sanchi (Mt. Shirakami). The clear stream flowing between large basalt rocks, oddly shaped rocks, and holes is beautiful.
