It was established in 1963 as the only facility in Japan specializing in the rehabilitation of active racehorses. We set up optimal rehabilitation menus for racehorses in need of recuperation and support the return of the treated horses to the turf. The extensive grounds include a training stable, a water walking machine and water treadmill for exercise while cooling the lower limb area, a swimming pool, and a running machine specially designed for horses, all of which provide physiotherapy at rehabilitation speeds. There is also a hot spring for the exclusive use of horses to relieve the fatigue of daily training, and many famous horses such as Oguri Cap, Tokai Teio, and Mihono Bourbon have been rehabilitated there. In addition, in late May of each year, we hold Japan's first swimming pool opening for racehorses, where pool training is conducted to improve basic physical fitness and muscle training.
