Sunflower Hill (Sambongi, Osaki City)
About 2 million rape blossoms in spring and 420,000 sunflowers in summer bloom all over the 6-hectare sunflower hill. During the period, the Rape Blossom Festival and Sunflower Festival are also held!
The 6-hectare “Sunflower Hill” is covered with 420,000 sunflowers, and the “Sunflower Festival” is usually held from late July to mid-August.The festival attracts many visitors from inside and outside of the prefecture, as well as local products, including sunflower ice cream and other specialty products made from sunflowers.
