This is a tour to visit the earthquake-stricken area along the coast of Fukushima Prefecture that was devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake, the ensuing tsunami, and the nuclear power plant accident caused by the earthquake. 9 years have passed since the disaster, and the recovery efforts have gotten to the point where it is possible of the former inhabitants to return to many of the areas, but even now there are many that are still suffering from the damages. This tour provides an opportunity for people to see with their own eyes what happened to Fukushima, what is going on now, and plans for the future. In addition, through interaction with the locals, we hope that the tour will create a postive cycle in which the visitors come to love Fukushima and encourage their friends and family to visit.
